<br>This position serves as a Compliance Investigator in (Special Investigation (SI), Eastern, Central, Western, Southwest, Southern Regional Office), Office of Hazardous Materials Enforcement (OHME), Associate Administrator for Hazardous Materials Safety (OHMS), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Adminitration (PHMSA), Department of Transportation (DOT). You will be responsible for the receipt, review, and proper disposition of all reports involving noncompliance with the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) from all sources.

<br>This position is perfect for an investigator/Enforcement Professional who is seeking challenging assignments. In the Central Regional Office of Hazardous Materials Safety within the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). This position is responsible for conducting hazardous materials inspections and investigations, with a focus on both packaging and shippers while maintaining a strategic approach on compliance and enforcement matters. You will work with the Deputy Associate Administrator on issues concerning the compliance of the Federal Hazardous Materials Enforcement.
