JOB SUMMARY:
Applicants must provide their own tools and have or be able to obtain a class B CDL (commercial driver's license). This position will repair and perform routine maintenance work on diesel trucks, farm tractors and construction machinery. <br>The employer would prefer applicants with at least 2 years of diesel / auto mechanic experience and/or graduation from a 1 or 2 year diesel mechanic vocational training program; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in the diesel mechanic or auto mechanic field. <br>This employer is also willing to train high school or college students that are interested in becoming diesel mechanics and will explain a college training incentive program that is available. <br>The business is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. This position will work Monday through Friday along with some Saturdays on a rotating basis.<br>The starting wage for this position will be $15.00 to $30.00 per hour and is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications along with benefits.
