JOB SUMMARY:

Open until filled. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming is preferred, plus a minimum of 2 years programming, analysis and design experience. An associate degree or a background of extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Program development using Computer Associates- "Advantage 2E" (SYNON) on an IBM iSeries / Power7 Platform using V6R1 15 OS; RPG or COBOL background; IBM iSeries / Power7 Operations and Administration skills, CL Programming and Query. Will design and write program applications; have proven analytical, decision making and problem solving abilities. Have a good knowledge of relational database concepts and business accounting. Works closely with Information Systems Manager and IT Team to review, assess, research, plan, propose and implement new technologies / hardware / software for on-going and future agency systems.
