JOB SUMMARY:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing audits to ensure adherence to Green Tree, 3rd party, and Investor Policy and Procedures and Servicer Guidelines by defining the sample, analyzing the data, summarizing results, suggesting resolution and, if appropriate, assisting with implementation and follow up. Assess the quality of collection work and use of loss mitigation activities by ensuring the appropriate course of action was taken. Work on special projects as directed including but not limited to portfolio due diligence, project management, and off site servicing audits.<br>MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES<br>• Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing audits to ensure adherence to Green Tree Policy and Procedures by defining the sample, analyzing the data, summarizing results, suggesting resolution and, if appropriate, assisting with implementation and follow up.<br>• Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing audits to ensure adherence to 3rd Party and Investor Servicer Guidelines and requirements (i.e. FNMA, FHA, Freddie Mac) by defining the sample, analyzing the data, summarizing results, suggesting resolution and, if appropriate, assisting with implementation and follow up.<br>• Assess the quality of collection work and use of loss mitigation activities by ensuring the appropriate course of action was taken.<br>• Work on special projects as directed including but not limited to portfolio due diligence, project management, and off site servicing audits.<br>SELECTION CRITERIA<br>• 2+ years previous experience in servicing environment (collections, underwriting, etc.). <br>• Non-conforming mortgage collections environment experience preferred.<br>• Knowledgeable about bankruptcy, foreclosure, and REO processes.<br>• Previous Audit experience preferred <br>• Excellent oral and written communication skills and good telephone technique.<br>• Strong numeric aptitude, detail oriented and organized.<br>• Able to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced highly stressful environment while maintaining a positive attitude.<br>• Previous computer experience, including Word and Excel and Access or equivalent software.<br>• Must be able to meet department attendance guidelines, including a work schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends<br>We are proud to be an EOE.
