Security Alarms Sales Rep

JOB SUMMARY:
Alarm Company is looking to hire Two (2) Security Alarm Sales Reps (Commercial & Residential) -- experience preferred but will train the right individuals.
1) Commercial reps will generate sales by marketing to specific businesses in the North Austin area.
2) Residential reps will generate sales by marketing to subdivisions in the North Austin area.
Requirements:
Professionalism
Determination
Friendly & Confident
Honest & Trust-worthy (Must be able to pass a criminal background check)
Tech-savvy (basic understanding of electronics)
Committed, Organized & Dependable (requires very little supervision)
Sales-Oriented & Driven (hungry/go-getter mentality)
Tenacious & Persistent (quitters or those easily discouraged need not apply)
Bottom line -- must be comfortable talking to people & promoting alarm systems/security
Flexible shifts available. Must have dependable transportation.
Excellent opportunity for advancement for the right individuals and will be required to obtain a salesperson license through the DPS PSB.
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years telemarketing, door-to-door sales or walk-in marketing
Alarm sales background is an added plus
20-40 hours per week
Commission per sale
