NEED
Parsons is in search of a highly driven, talented and successful senior project manager,who is well recognized in the Dallas TxDOT community, to join our transportation practice in Dallas. This is a cross functional doer/seller role. This position offers exciting challenges and opportunities for managing all activities related to transportation (bridge & tunnel) engineering and transportation market business development.

The senior project manager will provide engineering and project management expertise for state and local roads, collector and arterial streets and highways (rural and interstate systems) type projects including; corridor development and environmental impact studies, right-of-way layout, drainage and utility systems, preliminary and final design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, project scheduling and overall project management.



Qualifications
4-year degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and at least 15 years of transportation related work experience with 5 years at Project Management level. Bridge & Tunnel design experience in the Dallas area within the last three years. Local market knowledge and demonstrated success in managing medium to large projects required. Professional Engineer registration in Texas.

This position requires project management experience and working knowledge of the Texas Department of Transportation with emphasis in location and design development, final design, bidding, and letting procedures. Must be able to work effectively and communicate regularly with municipal clients; federal, state and local agencies.

The successful candidate will have experience with a consulting engineering organization and a proven track record of successful transportation (Bridge & Tunnel) project development and design. Proven ability to utilize community outreach to build relationships with existing Clients and market new municipalities and increase market share of TxDOT projects is required.
