This position serves as a first line supervisor of a Wildland Firefighter Type 2 IA HandCrew. The primary responsibility is for leadership of highly effective wildland fire suppression and wildland urban interface/intermix situations.

Tours of duty include full-time or less than full-time (guaranteed minimum 13 pay period's full-time employment). Positions may be filled as career ladders or could be filled at the full performance level dependent upon the individual unit's needs.
