Come Join Our Team of Chaplains who provide professional, compassionate care for our nation's Veterans and their families. 

 

 

This is a permanent full time position for Chief of Chaplain Service at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System located in Nashville, Tennessee.  The Chief of the Chaplain Service is responsible for managing, directing, and supervising the provision of spiritual and pastoral care to veterans and beneficiaries at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), its two major campuses and the twelve community based outpatient clinics, under the VISN 9 network.  

The incumbent is a certified Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor with credentials granted by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) and is responsible for oversight of the TVHS CPE program.  Primary duty location is Nashville or Murfreesboro campus, the location will be decided by the selectee.  The tour of duty is based on the needs of the hospital.
