This is an OPEN COMPETITIVE Examination being conducted under Delegated Examining Unit Authority. Applications will be accepted from United States citizens.
This is a term position not to exceed one year and one day. Extension of 1 year intervals up to four years is possible, but not guaranteed depending on the status of project completion or funding.
This is a part-time position and the incumbent will work 16 hours a week. During other periods throughout the year the number of hours could increase to 32 hours a week.

The Obed Wild and Scenic River is located in Wartburg, TN. The park consists of 45.2 miles of rivers and streams in deep gorges on the Cumberland Plateau. Wartburg is the county seat of Morgan County, population 17,500. Rural in character Wartburg is only 45 miles from Knoxville, TN. Grocery stores, library, health clinic, banks, high schools and elementary schools are available locally. Hospitals and major shopping centers are available in Oak Ridge and Knoxville. The climate is moderate: Summer temperatures average in the high 80's and low 90's with relatively high humidity. Winter temperatures occasionally reach zero degrees.
