TEXAS AIR NATIONAL GUARD
EXCEPTED TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

This position is located in the 254th CCS GP, Hensley Field, Dallas, TX. The purpose of this position is to provide technical and analytical guidance and support for the design of information technology (IT) networks that interconnect tactical sites through a variety of transmission media, considering the needs of requesting agencies, tactics and doctrine.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Air National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Appointment Factors: This is a Permanent Excepted Position open to Enlisted members ranking E-7 NTE E-8. This is a Bargaining Unit position.

Remarks: Ability to obtain/hold a Top Secret Clearance is required for the position.
