About the Position:
The Army Substance Abuse Program
(ASAP) is a mission critical program making a difference in the lives of
returning soldiers and their family members. We need professionals to
provide assessment and counseling in the treatment of substance abuse
and co-occurring disorders. Together, we can make a difference. Selectees
will be required to submit a complete credentialing packet within 10 days of job
offer. Instructions will be provided by the local credentialing office.Fort Hood rests in the beautiful hill and lake country of Central Texas approximately 60 miles north of Austin and 50 miles south of Waco. Because of the weather, outdoor recreation is available much of the year. Two lakes are only 15 minutes away. Affordable urban and suburban housing is readily available. Local colleges provide higher educational opportunities. The area is home to many churches, shopping centers, recreational facilities and fine restaurants.
