About the Position:
Serve as Research Occupational Therapist for the Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE) located at the Center for the Intrepid, Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. Direct supervision by the Research Director at the Center for the Intrepid. Specialized responsibility for independently conceiving, planning, developing, and conducting broad basic and applied clinical research programs pertaining to areas of biomechanics, rehabilitative therapy, metabolic aspects of traumatic injuries, and methodologies for conducting the above research. Research is conducted to develop new knowledge and applications in these areas relevant to future and existing rehabilitative care.
