TEXAS AIR NATIONAL GUARD
EXCEPTED TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

This position is located in the 136th Airlift Wing, Fort Worth, TX. The purpose of this position is to provide direct support to unit and other military and civilian aircrews during scheduled and unscheduled flying and ground activities. The incumbent works independently on standard and extended and/or rotating shifts to provide aircrews with information and assistance necessary for planning and conducting safe flight operations.

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Air National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Texas Air National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Texas Air National Guard. Appointment Factors: This is a Indefinite Excepted Position open to Enlisted members ranking E-5 Not To Exceed E-7. This is a Bargaining Unit position.
