TEXAS ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

This position is located in G4, MATES, Gatesville, TX. The purpose of this position is to supervise workers, either directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors, in accomplishing the operations of a distinct organizational unit and to perform associated nonsupervisory work.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Army National Guard and wear of the military uniform.

Open Areas of Consideration: In-Service Excepted (On-Board Only). This includes:
•All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite Technician personnel of the Texas Army National Guard.

Appointment Factors: This is an Indefinite Excepted Position open to Enlisted members ranks E-7 Not to Exceed E-9, Warrant Officers ranks Not to Exceed W-4. This is a Non-Bargaining Unit position.

Remarks: IF ONBOARD PERMANENT TECHNICIAN IS SELECTED THIS WILL BE A TEMPORARY PROMOTION AND IT WILL END UPON THE OBLIGATED INCUMBENT RETURNS FROM THE RESET PROGRAM. IF AN INDEFINITE OR TEMPORARY TECHNICIAN IS SELECTED IT WILL BE AN INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT AND UPON THE OBLIGATED INCUMBENTS RETURN TO THEIR OBLIGATED POSITION THE SELECTED INDIVIDUAL WILL RECEIVE A 30-DAY LETTER OF TERMINATION.

PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION: PCS expenses are not authorized.
