Note: The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-11. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is in the range of GS-07 to GS-11. The Professional Standards Board (a peer-review group) will review the selected candidate’s education and experience and recommend the grade and step at which the candidate will be placed. The salary is based on the grade and step approved for the selected candidate.

The Kerrville Campus is located approximately one-hour from the San Antonio metropolitan-area and the Audie L. Murphy Hospital in the South Texas Medical Center. The facility provides services in-house to over 6,600 Veterans and completes over 83,000 outpatient visits per year. The facility offers Primary Care, a variety of Specialty services, a Community Living Center for Nursing Home Residents, Hospice & Palliative Care, and a Short-Stay Rehabilitation unit. Nestled on the banks of the Guadalupe River, Kerrville is a vibrant community that is the capital of the Texas Hill Country. Its friendly people and majestic scenery make Kerrville a natural place to live, work and play. A few of our world class events and attractions include the Official Texas State Arts and Crafts Fair, Kerrville Folk Festival, Museum of Western Art, James Avery Headquarters, and Schreiner University.
