<br>'Department Introduction - To coordinate the distribution of new vehicles from Daimler Truck North America''s (DTNA) plants to dealers and customers. Work with the transportation provider for each designated plant to ensure they meet inventory targets, dwell time goals, and to work through vehicle inventory management issues. Track and coordinate the repair and dispatch of vehicles that incur a breakdown after shipping so that they deliver as soon as possible. Daimler Trucks North America transportation and logistics operations. Primary focus is on Vehicle Distribution and Freight Invoicing.
<br>Job Functions

<br>- Provide customer service contact point for dealer and sales inquiries on truck status and delivery issues. Troubleshoot problem deliveries and work with Factory, PDI, and transporter as necessary for resolution.Manage inventory of new trucks at DTNA locations. Utilize spreadsheets, Outbound Logistics System, IMS, Cognos, and other tools to ensure inventory accuracy. Understand Sarbanes- Oxley requirements for delivery operations and perform monthly audits to ensure compliance.Work with new truck transporter on resolving breakdown issues, coordinating repairs, and final delivery. Use Remedy system for recording breakdown causes.Processing of un-decking fees to dealers, and charge backs. Resolve claims with dealers and other receiving locations.Review and reconcile flooring claims with dealers and settlement using the Truck Invoice Adjustment System and SAP.Establish the routing of trailer only vehicles, using specialized transportation. Coordinate secondary moves of new trucks. Understand carrier options for secondary moves, based on service and cost.Prepare various reports on key metrics, including Freightliner on-time delivery and carrier on-time delivery. Use Cognos and Outbound Logistics System data base for report creation.Implement processes and adjust priorities/methods of carriers to meet revenue recognition targets. Ability to analyze data to attain revenue recognition goals for DTNA.Document Vehicle Distribution procedures and controls in Corporate Quality ISO web site.Understanding of Decked Driveaway and Single Driveaway methods and processes. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team oriented environment with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution.
