<br>CH2M HILL Mid-Level Traffic Engineer Jobs - Portland, OR
<br>The challenge? Helping our communities stay safely on the move.
<br>CH2M HILL-'s Portland office is seeking a high energy, team player to join us as aMid-Level Traffic Engineer. This opportunity is your chance to work on complex transportation planning and design projects.
<br>
<br>Types of projects would include the following:
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>* traffic operational analysis for urban arterials and intersections,
<br>
<br>* traffic operational analysis for freeway mainline and interchanges,
<br>
<br>* corridor studies, and
<br>
<br>* design and preparation of contract documents (PS& E) for the construction of traffic signals, illumination, ITS, Striping and signing
<br>You will work on challenging and exciting major planning and design projects. The Portland office supports a diverse range of projects all over the northwest region.
<br>
<br>Project experience using software for traffic modeling, lighting analysis and sign design would be preferred. The ability to communicate and coordinate with clients and stakeholders is essential. Ability to manage tasks by keeping on schedule and budget is required. Experience self managing traffic work and working with design teams on large projects is desired.  Exposure to and working knowledge with AutoCAD and Microstation is preferred. Demonstrated success working in a team environment is required, as well as the desire to learn and gain experience.

<br>This position requires a BS in Civil Engineering with 3-8 years of experience. Licensing or the ability to become licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon is preferred.
