Primary Job Responsibilities
Directing transportation of commodities by developing methods and procedures for transportation to customers and warehouses.
Determines routing and method of transportation by studying tariff manuals and motor freight guidebooks.
Protects shipments by investigating causes of damages or shortages in consignments or overcharges for freight or insurance.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Provides information by answering questions and requests related to domestic and International transportation.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains inter- and intradepartmental work flow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Work with our International Manufacturing locations to keep track and expedite shipments.

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree (preferred but NOT required)
Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, Power point, Project, Word and Visio.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Demonstrates a high sense of urgency and is capable of working with minimal direct supervision.
Exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills
Proficient in English and Spanish.
