Transportation Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
Experience:
-Transportation experience preferred
Education: High School Diploma or GED required, Degree preferred
Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English required
Requirements:
-SAP and TMS preferred
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Demonstrates working knowledge of transportation operations including the coordination of routing and scheduling
Duties:
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for implementing new technology for transportation department, working closely with department manager and corporate transportation team, WIll also keep track of KOIs for process under new technology and run scripts to test the system. The Transportation Coordinator will also monitor and coordinate international shipments coming to El Paso facility. This will require communication with carriers and utilizing carrier systems for POs, trailer number and to schedule deliveries. The coordinator will also work on special projects as needed and assist with training in the transportation management system as it is implemented at other facilities.
