Transportation Driver

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing driving services. The position's two responsibilities are the effective and timely transportation of client crew members and the safe operations of their assigned vehicles. Performs a complete pre-trip inspection of the vehicle assigned by dispatch at the beginning of trip or shift, or any replacement vehicle issued during the duration of trip or shift. Perform a complete post trip inspection of the vehicle assigned as the vehicle is returned. Continuously monitors vehicle operation during the duration of trip or shift so as to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle at all times. Ensures the assigned vehicle is hut down when not engaged in crew hauling activity, and the temperature is less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensures, during the embarkation and disembarkation of crew members that the vehicle is: in park, motor shut off, 4-way flashers are on, opens doors to assist crew member in and out of the van, opens doors to assist crew members with baggage.
Must have a current valid state issued Driver's License issued by the state of Residence. Employees can have no active warrants or undisposed charges-felony or misdemeanors. Employees can't have an incarceration, or release within the past 5 years. No record of Drug or Alcohol related convictions, including SWI/DUI, within the previous 7 years. No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years. No more than 1 moving violation within the last 3 years. Must be able to read maps and speak fluent English.
Strong interpersonal skills, professional temperament and attitude, ability to navigate in high traffic areas and ability to meet time deadlines. Minimum age requirement is 21. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A background check will be conducted; having a criminal background is not necessarily a disqualifying factor (depends on offense). A Pre-Employment Drug Screen will be conducted.
