JOB SUMMARY
Maintains corporate vehicles throughout the Urology and Medical Device divisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Management and Operations:
* Manages, maintains and coordinates all operational activities concerning corporate-owned vehicles within the Urology division to include trucks, trailers, cars, etc.
* Develops corporate fleet policies and procedures and implements such procedures as applicable.
* Oversees and maintains DOT regulating guidelines.
* Develops and administer company fleet policy.
* Performs operational assessments and ensures ¬¬¬¬ vehicle/ trucks runs efficiently.
* Develops corporate fleet policies and procedures and implement such procedures as applicable.
* Maintains Fleet database of vehicles
* A comprehensive working knowledge of Federal DOT guidelines, which will be instituted throughout the company.
* Work closely with Human Resources to develop and maintain an effective and compliant policy regarding substance abuse and alcohol misuse.
* Performs other duties as assigned. Works overtime as required.
* Ensures comprehensive service and support for all vehicles and devices for internal and external clientele.
* Oversee, track, and facilitate a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. Develop and coordinate this function with the mechanic manager.
* Facilitate and oversee emergency repairs and maintenance as needed.
Customer Service:
* Manages relationships with automotive manufacturers, fuel vendors, and parts facilities.
* Ensures superior services in internal and external clientele; and resolves issues and concerns in an immediate and proactive manner.
Communications:
* Communicates effectively and works with diverse individuals at every level.
* Utilizes computers for all communication, presentation, reporting, spreadsheet development, research, and Internet functions.
* Presents fleet projections and report to VP of Operations.
EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING
* High school diploma or equivalent, bachelors in business preferred.
* Maintain and complete current HIPAA training and requirements.
EXPERIENCE
* 2+ years experience working with a corporate fleet of at least 50 or more vehicles.
* Must have a comprehensive working knowledge of DOT guidelines.
* Must have a comprehensive knowledge of licensing and permitting.
* Experience in accident investigation.
* Must have the ability to read and interpret motor vehicle records.
* Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to interact successfully with staff at all levels with in the company.
* Computer literacy essential, MS Office.
* Must have an active CDL license and be able to operate a CMV.
