This is a Proposal Position:
The purpose of this job posting is to identify Key Personnel for a task order pending award based in Fort Hood, TX. The intent is that candidates selected for the proposal will have first consideration pending a contract award to IAP. Additional experience and qualifications are listed below.


LOCATION: CONUS -Fort Hood

JOB SUMMARY:Manage installation transportation services to authorized organizations and individuals at Fort Hood, TX. Transportation services include passenger, freight, household goods, GSA vehicles and unit move services (rail, linehaul, air, commercial)Route and scheduled in-bound freight. Negotiate rate with common carrier to ensure that lowest possible freight charges are incurred. Audit all freight charges; file claims on overcharges. Allocate freight charges to appropriate departments. Coordinate the transfer of goods between warehouses and among stores.. May arrange transfer of customers to off-post facilities in accordance with scheduled appointments. Ensure compliance with department of Transportation regulations. Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet department deadlines. Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Serves as the primary advisor to the Installation Commander and supported Commanders on all transportation requirements.

* Provide passenger services, during normal operating hours and as required after normal operating hours to include weekends and Federal holidays.

* Provide the ability to adjust bus driver schedules for bus transportation to military units as requested for training missions as required.

* Provide vehicle operators to perform all passenger transportation services.

* Complete dispatch procedures within 30 minutes of request.

* Dispatch recurring vehicles on a daily basis or other frequently scheduled basis to the same user or organization.

* Maintain control and accountability of all vehicles in assigned Billing Office Address Code

* Provide full time drivers to support authorized base transportation requirements for the installation as approved by the KO/COR.

* Provide vehicle operators with CDL to perform all passenger transportation services unless directed otherwise by the KO/COR.

* Provide passenger services, during normal operating hours and as required after normal operating hours to include weekends and Federal holidays.

* Manages rail deployment redeployment operations for tactical vehicles

* Manages air terminal operations- unit movement of personnel and cargo

* Transportation Motor Pool- Manages General Service Administration (GSA) provided non-tactical vehicles

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


* Bachelors Degree

* Ten (10+) years related experience

* Rail Operations deployment and redeployment (tactical vehicles, containers, ISU 90s)

* Automated Air Loading Planning System (AALPS)

* Movement Control Operations

* Aerial Departure Airfield Control Group Operations (A/DACG)

* Former Officer/Warrant Officer (88A,882A)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: DoD/DoS Secret clearance required.
