Position Description:
We are rapidly expanding and needs a dynamic National Transportation Sales Representative to join our team. The National Transportation Sales Rep., through extensive daily cold calling and visits, is responsible for obtaining and securing new sales activities which involves managing relationships with prospective and current customers, to identify and provide freight opportunities. Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, this position will independently contact, promote and sell our capabilities and services to generate new sales to customers of all volumes. Further responsibilities include taking an active role in target setting and planning for branch, company and personal growth.

Success in this position requires an outgoing, persistent, high energy, results driven, sales professional, who is competitive by nature and will thrive in a fast paced environment all while providing exceptional customer service.
* Associates degree or equivalent industry experience (B2B helpful)
* 1 - 2 years Transportation experience required (3PL preferred)
* Excellent and effective communication skills (both in person and on the phone)
* Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
* No Territory Restrictions
* Ability to work flexible hours, beyond 8 am - 5 pm
* Valid Drivers License
* Willing to travel (20%)
* Competitive attitude is a must
* $35k - $50k (Depending on Experience)
