The Intelligence Systems Business Unit (ISBU) of SAIC has a job opening for a Transportation Systems Project Manager supporting intelligence community programs in Austin, TX.

POSITION/PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The person will be responsible for an intelligent transportation system program managing a contract delivering products and services to a state or regional transportation authority. Will be responsible for growing and leading a multi-disciplined team and sub-consultants; managing transit/traffic data collection; data fusion; data dissemination through web integrated voice response (IVR) and mobile applications; traffic management /operations center (TMC) activities and related information technology infrastructure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have demonstrated leadership and business development experience and ability to provide proactive direction to personnel performing complex tasks. Previous experience with financial management including implementation of small projects according to cost, schedule, and budget. Candidate must have past experience managing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) contracts as well as demonstrated knowledge and credentials in the ITS industry.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor of Science in a related technical or business field; advanced degree preferred.
-Must have 3 years of Traveler Information Systems Experience.
-Requires at least 15 years of progressive experience in ITS, transit and traffic monitoring and user information systems.
-Must have demonstrated leadership and business development experience and ability to provide proactive direction to personnel performing complex tasks.
-U.S. Citizenship required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Strong supplemental focus on strategic planning activities is also a plus.
