Position: Shop Associate for the Central Utah Service Center (CUSC) Location: American Fork, Utah Classification: Part-Time, Hourly Work Hours: About 15 hours per week Mondays and Wednesday 12 am 6 pm First Saturday of Each Month 10 am 2 pm Accountabilities To be accountable for the general management of the CUSC shop location. Provide quality customer service to community members, volunteers, and staff, including retail activities, reception duties, program duties, data entry, mail, and general office duties. Understand and utilize the Point of Sale software, cash register, and reporting system. Sell merchandise, monitor and evaluate inventory stock levels, and place orders to ensure an adequate supply of Girl Scout merchandise for the CUSC. Provide accurate and timely reporting of daily, weekly, and/or yearly cash receipts, month-end reports, and supplemental reports. Prepare and deliver bank deposit daily and outgoing mail. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff members, volunteers, and community representatives to ensure results for mutually acceptable goals. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal communication skills while achieving results in partnership with others. Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to speak clearly. Minimum one year employed office experience and customer service experience. Strong organization skills, detail oriented, high degree of accuracy, and ability to multitask. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, internet applications, databases, and email. High school diploma or equivalent required. Business math skills with the ability to maintain accurate records. Data entry and cash register experience preferred. Girl Scout knowledge and experience preferred. This position requires the moving, lifting, stocking, and carrying of boxes and merchandise. Must be able to bend down, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds. Must have access to a vehicle to make deposits at the bank. Compensation Benefits Salary of $9.00 per hour.
