JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of working level emergency medical response duties as needed to deliver at-the-scene medical care and basic life support (BLS) services. Respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the ill and injured patient and transports the patient to medical facility. Determines the nature and extent of illness or injury and establishes priority for required emergency care. Based on assessment findings, renders emergency medical care to adult, infant and child, medical and trauma patients. Provides emergency transfers and staffing for special events. Position requires state of Utah E.M.T. Basic certification to apply. Must be a resident of Box Elder County. NOTE: All employees must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug screen. Closes: Once position is filled.
