JOB SUMMARY:
New opportunity for an Insurance Agent Internship with a financial services company in Brigham City. Position pays a base of $500 per month, plus commission. Will be responsible to acquire a minimum of one new account and provide at least 10 quotes per month. The company will assist with obtaining required insurance licenses. Great earning potential and opportunity for candidates with initiative and drive to learn the business. Days and hours worked are flexible and will be arranged with the employer. Interns will receiving training to: Seek out new clients by networking and generated lists of prospective customers Maintain records and handle policy renewals Develop marketing strategies to promote services Explain features of various policies to assist with selling insurance plans Interview prospective clients to obtain data about financial resources and needs Call on policyholders to review coverage additions and suggest changes Attend meetings to learn about new products and services and enhance skills Successful interns will be offered the opportunity to become an independent agent at the end of the internship and be able to obtain additional licenses to increase earning potential.
