JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, operates unique store at the Golden Spike National Historic Site visitor center. Uses entrepreneurial skills to achieve goals, drive revenue, and propose new ways to connect store(s) to visitors. Manages day to day store operations ( assist customers, order/receive stock, manage inventory, display product, and report sales)and implements business controls. Conducts outreach efforts in support of park interpretive programs and events. Supervises one seasonal employee. Creates and maintains collaborative, positive, and productive relationships. Qualifications: HS/GED; minimum 3 years' retail store management experience; excellent communication, collaboration, follow-though, and cash management skills.
