New openings for Production I II Specialists with a company that is expanding in Brigham City. Will be responsible for manufacturing and assembly of composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPV) in accordance with product drawing and specification requirements. Position relies on extensive composite and filament winding experience and judgments to plan and accomplish tasks and long-term goals. Will work with minimal supervision to operate production equipment including: filament winder, oven, hydrostatic test, gas leak test, and paint. The Production Tech II may train others in safe practices, machine operation, composite processing, composite material handling, and following shop floor work instructions. Will also follow blueprints, specifications, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product requirements and tolerance levels are achieved. Production Techs will follow, reinforce, and train others in ISO 9001 requirements and be familiar with a variety of the composite product and materials concepts, practices, and procedures. Positions require 5-10 years experience in filament winding and curing processes, working with a quality assurance system, 5+ years in team leadership, coaching, and employee development, and 5+ years in manufacturing process measurement and control. These positions will start as day shift; however, as the company grows the schedule may become rotating shifts.
