JOB SUMMARY:
The School of Continuing Professional Studies (SCPS) continually accepts resumes to maintain a pool of adjunct faculty to teach ESL courses. Instructors will be teaching ESL courses to small groups of international students who travel to Cedar City for English language learning. Duties Responsibilities: 1. Learning curriculum, classroom instruction, creative use of learning experiences and activities 2. Teaching, preparation, and assessment of student learning. Instructors will be teaching a variety of skill levels as well as helping international students adjust to the culture and to university expectations. Qualifications: 1. Bachelors Degree in Foreign Language, Education, or similar. 2. Experience teaching ESL and/or EFL Preferred: TESL Certificate Masters Degree in TESL, any Foreign Language Teaching, ESL, or related degree.
