Maintenance Electrician needed for a Cedar City (84721 zip code area) employer. Repair various industrial equipment (presses, grinders, injection mold machines, conveyors, etc.). Repair and perform facilities maintenance (lighting, electrical panels, etc.). Work with management and other technicians to repair machinery. Required to work with presses or injection molding equipment. Will read job orders and preventive maintenance schedules. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have the ability to stand long hours, walk and crawl. Must have experience troubleshooting. repairing and performing preventive maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, tumblers, grinders, gearboxes, conveyor systems, stacking equipment and cylinders. Electrical experience is a must, Skill set should include 480 volt systems, motors, fuses, starters, VFDs, PLCs and sensors. Must have ability to work with compressors and replace filters, fans, copper lines, etc. Familiarity with welding is a must (Arc, Mig or Tig). Must have ability to read electro-mechanical blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with injection molding or any type of plastics machinery is a major plus (i.e., Cincinnati Milacron, Husky, etc.). Must be able to communicate with various staff members and work in a team setting. Must be able to respond when electrical system and equipment breakdowns occur. Work hours will be arranged.
