JOB SUMMARY:

This position is located in Sanpete County. Manages all classroom activities. Provides developmentally appropriate early childhood education program for 3-5 year old preschool children from low income families. Works as a team member with other staff, parents, and volunteers. Employment preference given to former or current Head Start parents. Ability to lift 50 pounds, relate with children, volunteers, parents and other staff required. Current physical, TB test, Utah Food Handler's Permit, First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain certification) required. All employees must pass background criminal investigation. Employment preference given to parents of current or former Head Start students. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field required. Montessori certification or ability to become certified required for some positions. Drug and smoke-free employer.
