JOB SUMMARY:
Electrical/Electronic Engineer. Applies knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Plans and implements research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical and electronic theory to engineering projects. Designs, develops, and tests the installation of electrical and electronic equipment, instruments, components, or systems. Coordinates installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, safety standards, and customer requirements. Compiles data and writes reports for engineering studies and projects. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Individuals must have a minimum of two (2) to twelve (12) years of relevant engineering experience (Government or industry) and a BS degree in a related engineering field. Entry level engineers are considered for this requirement. Senior positions require four years experience in a workload, management, or oversight capacity and a BS and/or MS degree in a related engineering field. A BS degree in an alternative field of study granted through an approved waiver may be substituted. Prior Department of Defense experience preferred.
