JOB SUMMARY:

Defense Contractor operating at various locations throughout the United States. Position may be located in Washington DC. Engineering Support (Craftsman) shall conduct studies and analysis, which might include, but is not limited to trade-off studies, requirements definition, feasibility analysis, development planning, analysis of alternatives, evaluation of alternative technical approaches, development planning and or preliminary program estimates. Will provide engineering analysis in support of weapon systems during requirements definition, engineering development, and modification processes. Will assess the development progress by attending requisite design reviews, technical interchange and program management meetings, and other reviews as directed by the Government. Will assist the Government in monitoring, planning and executing the design and test process to ensure that the development efforts are meeting Government specifications. Qualifications: Journeyman: Bachelor?s Degree in any Engineering field of study, and ability to interpret military weapon system aircraft drawings, and interpretation/communication of Engineering Orders (Eos), plus 5 years or more experience in applying Engineering knowledge in the aviation field.
