JOB SUMMARY:
GENERAL PURPOSE: Performs a variety of routine child care duties in the drop-in daycare program at the Aquatics Center. Minimum qualifications for the position are: Education and Experience: A. High school graduate or equivalent and training to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform above or related duties; AND B. Six (6) months previous childcare experience; OR C. An equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Qualifications: Must pass a background investigation and fingerprint check. Must pass a TB test. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers permit within 30 days of hire. Must be able to obtain American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications within 60 days of hire and be able to maintain certification.
