Job Summary: This position reports to the Trust Manager and will be responsible for safe-guarding custodial funds through bank reconciliation, process documentation, continuous improvement, and participation in periodic audits. Successful candidates will be detail oriented, able to learn quickly, and able to adapt to change. The ability to productively work on cross-functional teams is also a must. Successful candidates will also have the ability to use continuous improvement in accounting process flow creation and documentation. Duties: * Work through daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation processes * Prepare necessary reports and data for periodic audits * Document process flow with strong attention to detail * Participate in month-end close process * Responsible for full-cycle process flow for assigned bank accounts * Audit various operational processes as it relates to account reconciliation * Work cross-functionally to improve process and decrease errors * Innovate through continuous process improvement * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Technically minded * 1 2 years in an Accounting environment * Great attention to detail * Excellent analytical skills * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Understanding of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement * Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Team player (works well with others) and an ability to take direction
