If you want to collaborate with an experienced software engineering team to not only design and develop software but also exercise your own creative muscle then this is the place for you. You will be a key contributor in the development of custom software to manage our custodial accounts as well as collaborate on partner integration, website projects and new account type design. You will have the opportunity to stretch your skills by developing systems that strive for automation as well as reduced complexity. Performance Objectives In the first 30 days you will dive in and become familiar with HealthEquity's technology and projects inside and out. You'll start building relationships with our team of world class engineers and help us raise the bar by expanding the ease of use of our code for testing, new implementation and maintenance. Within 60 days you'll be introducing combined programming methodologies enterprise wide and implementing processes to improve code review before release. You can demonstrate your ability to succeed independently, with an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving. You'll have an integral part in helping HealthEquity become scalable to address our future growth. You'll be accelerating company growth by thinking beyond the norm and making a significant contribution to our corporate initiative of flawless execution. Success Factors * Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred. * 5 to 10 years hands on experience as a senior software design and development engineer. * Must have a proven .net environment, C#, SQL skill set * Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WCF and Entity Framework will be beneficial * Commitment to complete projects on time * Commitment to design and deliver code that is maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, efficient and innovative * Ability to identify customer needs and provide proper rationale for utilizing internal business capabilities to solve needs. * Must be a team player, well organized and able to handle multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously. * Excellent project management, analytical and self-motivation skills. * Demonstrated customer service focus, work ethic and attention to detail are critical to success in this position.
