*** This position is a contract to hire position. This position will initially be a non-benefited, contract position to support HealthEquity's busy season during October to February. Job Summary: The Primary function of the Service Desk is to be the first point of contact for incidents and requests; these must be accurately identified, prioritized logged. Duties: ? Respond to technical support incidents and requests in person, via email and on the phone in a friendly, professional and timely manner. ? Identify, troubleshoot and research problems, recommending solutions and escalate the issue when applicable. ? Communicate known problems/fixes to team members, submitting knowledge solutions. ? Developing IT processes/procedures ? Assist higher-level engineers in research of problems. ? Install, maintain and problem resolution of PC hardware and operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7 OSX) and attached hardware. ? Add/delete/modify user account information and documenting appropriately. ? Rotating 24/7 on-call pager duty required. Occasional local travel required. ? Support of Blackberry, iPhone and Android handheld devices. Qualifications: Minimum pre-requisites for consideration: ? A minimum of 1-year previous help desk experience. ? Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a peer-oriented small team environment with minimal supervision. ? Be comfortable in learning and tackling projects utilizing unfamiliar technologies. ? Time management and organizational skills Hands on experience required: ? Laptop and workstation OS and application installation, configuration and troubleshooting ? Windows XP/Windows 7, Server 2003/2008, MS Office 2007/2010 Suite. ? Basic LAN administration, network protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN's. ? Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting.
