JOB SUMMARY:

The elementary Spanish immersion teacher is responsible for teaching math, science, social studies, Spanish language arts, art and music in Spanish to English-speaking elementary-aged children. The contract is for 180 school days working as a full-time elementary school teacher. The applicant must be a native Spanish-speaker or pass the OPI at Advanced-mid (as based on the ACTFL scale) or higher. The candidate must also hold a bachelor's degree in elmentary education, a current Utah teaching license, a World Language (Spanish) endorsement AND a Dual Immersion endorsement. 3-5 years of teaching experience in an immersion classroom is preferred.
