GENERAL PURPOSE Serves as a part time custodian to assist with maintenance and custodial duties, with room set up and logistics at the College Campus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience * Requires a high school diploma * One year custodial experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of basic custodial service techniques and procedures * Working knowledge of chemical hazards related to harsh cleaning agents * Working knowledge of custodial equipment operation and maintenance * Ability to perform heavy lifting and other duties requiring moderate physical strength * Ability to follow instructions and work independently * Must be prompt, dependable and show integrity in all aspects of the job * Valid driver's license required JOB FOCUS * Performs various logistical and maintenance duties, including but not exclusively; sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, vacuuming and restroom maintenance * Sets up for special events, moves tables, chairs, and equipment * Occasionally performs emergency maintenance duties as needed * Performs other related duties as required PRIMARY CUSTOMER College Campus staff, students, College Campus visitors
