JOB SUMMARY:

The Counter Sales position will be a resource for immediate service and product knowledge for our customers. This position provides a communication link between our customers and the company. The individual must behave consistently with employers Core Competencies and focus on safety. Provide customer service at the sales counter. Greet and acknowledge every person that enters the showroom. Assist customers with product selection in a pleasant and efficient manner. Responsible for merchandising showroom and daily restocking. Maintain a clean and organized counter area and showroom. Bring any unfamiliar circumstances or situations to the attention of management. Reliable and regular attendance is required. Assist with warehouse and delivery functions as needed. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. This position requires a minimum of one-year of experience with Platt or two years similar industry experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office and the Web. Must be familiar with electrical material and its application and be able to work well in a team environment.
