JOB SUMMARY:
Electrician Specialist is needed for a Lindon educational institution. Lane 15 Contract, 1 position available @ 8 hours per day, $17.77 per hour, 250 days per year, Contract and benefits. Maintains and repairs electrical equipment throughout the school district. Installs and repairs electrical wiring (light fixtures, plugs, switches, breaker boxes, main service wiring, motors, water fountains, emergency power packs, etc.). Obtains parts for repairs as needed. Job Requirements: Must successfully complete two years of skill training (or equivalent) in general electrical, electronics, electrical automation and acquire a general knowledge of refrigeration installation, maintenance and repair. Must update skill as needed. Must complete four years of job related work experience (equivalent to an apprenticeship) with demonstrated competence. Note: The Administration reserves the right to require specific training for this position. However, depending upon the type and quality of prior work experience, some exchanges can be made between training and work experience. Journeyman license required.
