JOB SUMMARY:
Section 42 Compliance: Logan UT Description Wasatch Property Management currently has an opening for a Compliance Specialist in regards to the Affordable Housing Program (LIHTC/HOME/Bond/HCD/CDBG) This person will be based in our Logan Utah office. Position description includes but is not limited to: -Reviewing all new move-in and recertification files for Utah tax credit properties -Auditing designated Bond and LIHTC properties annually -Responding to audits and process and complete all required agency reports for assigned properties -Assisting with file repairs -Communicate to onsite personnel effectively and respectfully any needed changes or corrects found while reviewing file -Communicate all problems and make recommendations to the Compliance Director on the current progress of all designated properties -Ongoing training in the Affordable Housing Program will be required -Must be willing to work some Saturdays Qualifications Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Highly organized and detail oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivation with a desire to succeed Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft outlook Excellent math skills Accounting or bookkeeping background desired Previous property management experience is a big plus Understanding of current LIHTC/bond regulations or be willing and able to completed required training Yardi experience a plus Possess a proactive, positive attitude!
