JOB SUMMARY:
The Dietitian Specialist position provides nutritional guidance by assessing the nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health conditions of patients and helps develop and implement dietary-care plans in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Dietitian Specialist provides nutritional counseling to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes. The Dietitian consults with physicians, healthcare personnel, clinical experts and educators to determine the best nutrition therapy care plan. They are an integral part of the healing team and are able to make a difference in the lives of those they serve. Entry Rate: 20.25 Benefits Eligible: No Shift Details: Work schedule can be very flexible. Will be able to set own schedule. Department: Dialysis Additional Details: May work up to 20 hours per work at times.This is a temporary position. Minimum Requirements Bachelorapos;s in dietetics or nutrition. Intermountain verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment. Successful completion of an approved American Dietetic Association (ADA) program Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Three or more years full-time work experience in specialty area, OR Two or more years full-time work experience AND specialty certificate such as Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian(CNSD), Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition(CSP), Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition(CSR), Certified Diabetes Educator(CDE). Demonstrated computer proficiency Certified Dietitian State of Utah Food handlerapos;s permit (as required by facility) Physical Requirements Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual, Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing Preferred Qualifications Masterapos;s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition Please Note All positions subject to close without notice Intermountain Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V
