JOB SUMMARY:
Market Manager, Geo-technical Structural Group for a Logan area employer. Manage Application Engineers in the Geo-technical Structural Group to include responsibility for hiring and supervising personnel. Responsible for all marketing efforts supporting the customer activities in the US. Responsible for planning and tracking all sales efforts in the market including technical proposals, quotes, bids, contracts, customer and sales visits. Supervise Engineers in their duties which include sales efforts, specifying product and software solutions for customers, support of customers in their data acquisition projects, education of customers in the use of CSI dataloggers and peripherals as used in their respective applications, assist customers in locating and fixing problems with datalogger hardware and software, programming data acquisition and control logic in dataloggers. work with Product Management to define new products that provide measurement solutions. Requires a BS degree in engineering or science or equivalent experience plus several years of experience with structural and geo-technical applications. A professional engineering license with sepcific practice involving field measurements is preferred. Exp with project and product management, personnel management, business planning with proven aptitude for PC peripherals and LAN operations, using MS ofice, general electronics and radio technology required. Familiar iwth CSI Dataloggers, specifications and operations, accessories, along with CSI Marketing policies and forms with understanding of requirements of CSI customer base is a plus. Will do hiring, training, set realistic sales goals, obejectives, performance reviews, etc. Develop market strategies. Responsible for the Marketing Communications Group on advertising and sales literature. Report on sales objectives, administration, engineering. Provide quotes, engineering, training of custoomers and marketing personnel. Evaluate competition, etc. Other duties as assigned. This is a full time, salaried position with full employee benefits.
