We are looking for someone to help our RD team develop market-leading products for the health and fitness industry. This is an exciting, fast-paced environment with opportunities in whole-product design.From day one, you will be exposed to all aspects of the execution of concepts, designs, drawings, prototypes, vendor communications, part evaluations, and production builds. Qualifications:The successful candidate must have a history of excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills with vendors, co-workers and supervisors in a positive team environment.Requirements:B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college/university. Entry level mechanical engineer (0-3 years of experience)Proficient use with Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks. - --Experience in the preparation of BOMs, ECRs, tolerances, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions. Working knowledge of tolerances and clearances for bushing and bearings.Experience with the design of parts for plastic-injection molding, steel fabrication, machining, forging, and casting. Experience with the integration of off-the-shelf electro-mechanical components. Ability to travel overseas on an occasional basis. Chinese language skills are desired. Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement processes is desired.
