Quality Assurance Data Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Date Manager will be analyzing the quality of ICON Health Fitness products by providing various reports and forms of data that examine past quality issues and daily discrepancies on a real-time basis. This information will be made available to all departments with ICON and will be used specifically to develop a Weekly Game Plan to ensure a high level of quality. They will also be expected to be familiar with MS office products and assist others in the use of these tools.Essential duties and responsibilities:Duties will include but are not limited to: Daily: Complies data from various quality assurance sources such as inspection reports and finished goods audits. Verifies the accuracy of the data entered. Checks with other data sources, such as Testing, customer Care and Social Media to maintain a current quality status of each model being produced the following week.Weekly: Prepares reports which highlight issues associated with particular products from the following sources of information: Audit Sheets, Testing reports, Product Critical Inspection Requirements, Customer Satisfaction Data, Product reviews.Monthly: Assist team members in completing Monthly assignments and prepare a monthly summary of issues recorded.Quarterly: Generate a Supplier Performance Analysis Report Qualifications:Must have excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong attention to detail, be a self-starter and independent worker. Ability to interact and work across the business, including strong knowledge of data manipulation. Enthusiastic problem solver that thrives on being engaged at all levels of the projects top down. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Education/Experience:Bachelor Degree, with a background in statistics and / or numerical analysis. Training or an equivalent combination of experience and education would be considered. It is essential that the individual is proactive, with the ability to use Access and other databases.Mathematical Skills:Ability to manipulate data and present in a clear format. Essential skills will include ability to calculate ratios, percentages and to create graphs and other forms for effectively measuring and presenting data.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense and an understanding to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.AAP/EOE
