Inovar, a premier Electronic Manufacturing Services company, is seeking an experienced Quality/Compliance Engineer to provide quality engineering support to assigned projects, programs or areas to ensure that all products are built in accordance with customer, corporate and regulatory requirements. JOB SUMMARY: Provides quality engineering support to assigned projects, programs, and/or areas to ensure that all products are built in accordance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements. Collects and analyzes internal/external data to ensure product quality and identify areas of improvement. Drives issues to root cause and takes corrective action. Performs necessary statistical analyses using quality tools (Pareto, GRR, DOE, 8D, FMEA) to continually improve internal/external yields. Assists Quality Manger in maintaining compliance and conducting internal audits. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Conduct internal audit of process - Acts as a back-up for compliance and certification - Identifies areas of process improvement - Utilizes quality tools to conduct full root cause analysis and take corrective action - Interfaces with customers to receive and resolve issues and corrective action requests (CAR) EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Bachelor's degree in engineering field - Advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software - Advanced statistical analysis - Working knowledge of manufacturing principles including Six Sigma and/or Lean - Excellent verbal and written communication - Excellent customer service and presentation - Structured problem resolution skills (i.e. 8D) (preferred) EEO/M/F/D/V
