The RMA Repair Technician will repair electronic inbound bench repairs of customer while following YESCO Electronics policies and procedures established by management. Job Function: Complete assignments assigned by the RMA Clerk or RMA Repair Supervisor from YESCO electronics customers using the guidelines for product repair manual and by direction of the RMA Repair Supervisor, making sure RMA quantities match what was sent in for repair, that any replacement items get ordered in a timely fashion and are reported immediately with written or verbal reason as to why it needs to be replaced, enter all repair notes into the RMA data base and parts used, close the RMA when completed prep for shipping. Responsibilities: Follow YESCO Electronics policies and procedures. Repair inbound YESCO products purchased by customers. Use test equipment to verify all repairs are complete and correct. Report any repeat issues to the RMA repair supervisor for investigation. Enter part repair information into the RMA data base. Make sure repairs are maintained to a high standard of repair in line with engineering specifications. Other assigned duties as seen fit by management. Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2 years? experience in electronic repairs at the board level. Associates degree in electronics or equivalent testing, preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with electronic test equipment and measurement devices. Ability to read interrupt electronic schematics and technical drawings. Manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Intermediate skills trouble shooting computers.Basic skills in networking for a shop communication testing.
