JOB SUMMARY:
HR Generalist II Job ID: TS20122910-26151 Description: HR Business Partner - Level 17 This position will serve as a Business Partner for the Space Components Division. We are seeking a proactive, passionate HR professional who is capable of building sound business relationships, implementing HR strategy in support of the overall business strategy, and contributing to the profitability and growth of this division. Roles amp; Responsibilities * Acts as the HR interface and strategic business partner for managers and employees in the division. * Acts as the HR project manager for one or more division projects including standardization of rewards and compensation practices, performance management, on-boarding, training and development, employee relations, and/or talent assessment and selection. * Implements thorough talent planning process including identifying succession pool and high-potentials, evaluating leadership effectiveness, conducting gap analysis, and developing action plans. * Partners with leadership team to continue emphasis on continuous improvement cultural shift. * Partners with leadership on performance management to ensure employees have aligned performance goals, facilitates employee development plans, ensures focused feedback is provided to employees, and facilitates the performance calibration process. * Consults with managers to on-board and assimilate new employees and leaders. * Leads employee relations process including partnering with management on investigations and consulting with management to improve performance. Knowledge and Skills * Requires a Bacheloramp;rsquo;s degree in HR, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business or related field and 3 or more yearamp;rsquo;s progressive experience. Prefer MBA or Masters in HR, Psychology, or Labor Relations and a minimum of 1 year experience. * PHR or SPHR certification is preferred. * Requires a strong enthusiasm for change, innovation, flexibility, and continuous improvement thought process. * Requires project management and prioritization skills. * Continuous improvement experience and/or training are required. Process mapping and/or value stream mapping experience and/or training are preferred. * Requires understanding of and experience with 2 or more generalist disciplines, to include, talent planning, organizational design, organizational development and training, cultural transformation, employee engagement, performance management, on-boarding/assimilation, leadership effectiveness, and rewards and compensation. * Demonstrates personal leadership skills; high performance behaviors, customer focus, self-development, self-initiative, influencing, and collaboration skills. * Demonstrates business acumen, understanding of financials, profit and loss, and business trends. * Demonstrates strong communications and presentation skills. * Aerospace or Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
